I Forgot About ME!

Well, I lost the weight and gained it back and then some. I'm quite disappointed in myself and have run out of excuses. I'm in my 40s now. Both my children are grown & now that I have to live for ME, I realize that I forgot about myself along the way. I want this weight off & I want my energy back. I'm ready to embrace this new phase of my life & I want to look and feel good while I live life out loud!

I'd like to fit into a size 10 in ladies not juniors. I estimate that I would weigh about 165 pounds in that size. I want to reclaim my self-esteem and share my joy with others. I want to be successful!

My Program:
Cardio-4 or more times a week for a minimum 180 minutes
Strength-Twice a week or more!!!
Run 2 miles at least 3 times per week!
ABS 5 days a week!!!

No more Pepsis.NO HONEYBUNS or other pastries. NO OREO cookies.

Eat fried food sparingly.

Drink a min of 64 oz of water daily.

Be conscious of what I put in my mouth and exercise to burn calories consumed.

Track my exercising and my food and evaluate them regularly to see what I can add or what I need to take out.

Get moving & stay focused!!!

Personal Information:
I'm a GA peach... born and raised. I'm a divorced mother of 2 teen daughters. I am a victim's advocate in a prosecutor's office. I recently went back to college pursuing a psychology degree. I think I want to become a licensed counselor. This is ME taking time for ME and doing something that will benefit ME. I am a caregiver and nurturer by choice but this time I'm choosing to care for myself.

Other Information:
There's nothing random about me. I'm an intentional masterpiece. A soldier of life's wars. Strengthened by my scars. Unstoppable, unbreakable. Unapologetic, unshakable. My being surpassed mere happenstance. Transcending predictions. Overruling chance.

Id like to invite you to join in my challenge to lose 10 pound in July. i know some of us might be saying 10 pounds? that is too much! cant do it! But i here to tell u i did it for 7 months straight, b4 i got sick with cancer and had dropped out for a yr and a half. if u stay within ur calories that are alotted and if u track everything that passes ur lips u can do it too. I was never one that stayed on a diet more than 3 weeks at a time, and then I'd get discouraged and dropped off. i lost 75 pounds just doing calorie counting and tracking to make sure i never went over. i barely exercised ...i am handicapped and i cant do exercises in the conventional way but i flapped my arms while sitting and leg raises. very minimal stuff. the idea was to keep moving and i did that. so i know with disipline, encouragement and motivation u can too.. so i invite u to come and join me on my 10 pound challenge! emoticon emoticon
