Hi! I'm Lindel and I live in Australia.
I'm really a thin person stuck inside a large persons body!!! I'm sick of being overweight and want to get fit and healthy again.
Growing up I was always fit and slender without ever having to really worry about what I ate, or my weight. But that said, when I think back, I ate more proportionally and healthy food back then, and exercised regulary. Its only been since I've had my children that I have put on weight, probably due to the fact that I put everyone elses needs before my own. But I'm over making excuses now, I realise its time to start putting myself first and pull together some willpower and make the changes necessary to lose all my unwanted weight.

I've been on Spark for one year now, and to be honest, my weight has not changed. What I have been doing however, is reading plenty of blogs for inspiration, reading articles for knowledge and corresponding with other members for motivation. It's taken me a year to analyse why I have put on weight, and why I'm not losing it. 2012 will be the year that I address my weight issue and put all of this knowledge to good use. I want to feel proud in my skin and show everyone that I OWN my body, and stop hiding behind my weight and frumpy clothes.

***Drink 8 glasses of water each day
***make healthy food choices
***stop snacking between meals
**Cut down on carbs
***exercise 40 minutes for 3 times per week
***persistence and consistency
***to eat less and move more
***stay optimistic! :)
I'm keeping in weekly contact with my sparksbuddies to motivate me and for me to help them on their weight loss journey also

I enjoy singing, dancing, running, gardening, drawing, the outdoors, reading the sunday newspapers, breakfast in bed (not that it ever happens - lol!) , cooking, taking the kids to the park, going to the beach, picnics, and hanging out with my husband and children.
