My Goals:
My starting goal is to lose 60 pounds by October 31, 2009. I'm hoping that a loss of weight will alleviate the need for diabetic meds as well as as improve my cholestoral and blood pressure levels.

My Program:
Make use of the:

1. Nutrition tracker
2. Weigh-in
3. Other tools as I discover them.

Personal Information:
I'm originally from LeRoy, Illinois, a little town 16 miles SE of Bloomington, corporate headquarters of State Farm, where I worked for 33 years. I transferred from Bloomington to the Pacific Northwest in 1990. I currently live in Canby, Oregon, with my son and his wife and my 5-year-old grandson. I take care of him while his parents work.

Other Information:
I'm an avid scrapbooker, and love to play with my computer and watch tv. My favorite books are anything by Jane Austen, Georgette Heyer, and Barbara Michaels. I recently became hooked on the Twilight series, also.

The weekly challenge was:

1 - Avoid white pasta, white potato, white rice, and white bread for 2 days during the week.
2 - Avoid all soda and alcoholic beverages for 4 days this week
