Dance at my 100th birthday party!

My daughter Laura is leading the Modesto, Ca SPARKteam so I'm motivated to get back on track after being gone 4 years!

After 5 years of living this new healthy lifestyle I've developed some very good eating habbits, now I'm trying to add activity!

History:
Weighed 195 Jan 2006 when I started Body Clutter
Weighed 185 in July 2006 when I started SPARK.
Lowest weight on May 22, 2007 151.2 lbs!!!

Then I started slowly gaining

Sept 15, 2007 weigh 160.6 lbs
July 18, 2008 176.2 lbs
Sept 18, 2009 183 lbs
Feb 18, 2010 172 lbs
Today March 10, 2011 I've only gained 3 lbs over the last year!
I did not gain my "winter weight" and I'm ready for my spring lifestyle (good food and exercise) that hopefully will lead me into my favorite bathing suit.

Only 25 lbs to goal!!!

My Goals:
My long term goal is to be healthy enough to dance at 100th birthday party!!!

My goal is to weigh 150 pounds by Oct. 19, 2011

Loosing *very* slowly has worked for me in the past and it will work again!

My Program:
Daily goals:
Eat low carb fruits and veggies and protien for 2 weeks then start adding healthy carbs until I'm on a ballanced diet.

15+ min of cardio.

7+ hours of sleep.

Running in place while I wait for the microwave, and wall push ups in the shower, are my favorite ways to sneak in extra movement.

Personal Information:
I live in Modesto, Ca (right in the middle of the state)

I am a daycare provider for my 4 little granddaughters
and enjoy having my teen grandson visit after school. My oldest granddaughter is in college and I miss seeing her every school day.

Kids keep me young and enjoying life!

May 2005 I became a widow after 37 years of marriage.

I have 3 adult children and 9 grandchildren!

Took the 3 youngest granddaughters to In-shape kids exercises today. They loved it and I got to walk 1 mile on the treadmill. We are going to try this every Tues and Thurs! emoticon
