My Goals:
Live a healthier lifestyle--through good nutrition and exercise.

Lose weight.

Get 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night.

Work in my garden.

Go for a walk outside.

My Program:
Doctor says I have pre-diabetes so I'm following Spark plan on the nutrition tracker with my own menu:
- low sodium
- whole foods as much as possible
- Nutritionally balanced, portion controlled meals

Exercise is walking at least 35 minutes every day and strength training 3x a week.

Personal Information:
I love to read, constantly, compulsively.

I enjoy counted embroidery.

My guilty pleasure is Mahjong Connect, although I play Sudoku everyday, too.

emoticon Linda, I agree with you, I think it is worth it. And it sounds tonight like my father might finally be convinced too. I really hope he won't change his mind! He is my Mom's guardian so only him can take the decision for her.

Thank you for taking the time to read and comment on my "Chef Boyar 'B'" Blog the other day! Also, thank you for sharing how you make your eggs and add cheese and how you do your potatoes! Ha, ha! I was just thinking the other day after I read your blog how sorry I feel for people who view food simply as fuel. There aren't enough pleasures in life as it is, so we might as well thoroughly enjoy the ones we've got!
