Thank you so much for visiting my page. That was an incredibly special day with my dad. Thanks for sharing it with me. The sink went in Saturday and it's amazing!

Yes, keeping up with the clutter free environment is the tricky part! Although having closets, cabinets and drawers decluttered does make that easier. Things have a place to go back to now :-). I really will have to keep this up for a while, though. Once I'm retired and the house goes on the market I'm going to have to be little miss neat and tidy every day. At least once I'm retired, I'll have the time, and no excuses for not staying on top of things.

I've been slowly trying to get back into real life :-). I did get my suitcase unpacked, and the laundry done and put away. Today I even cleaned out a kitchen cabinet. It occurred to me that I have about a month before school starts again, so I need to get cracking again on the house declutter. Other than that, I've been pretty low key since I came back. Feeling just a bit jet-lagged. Have a great weekend! Any particular plans?

The storms were a bit exciting (if inconvenient). The hotel worked out well, though, since that was where I'd left my car (a Park, Sleep, and Fly arrangement). We got in pretty late because of they storm delay but all I had to do was call the hotel shuttle and by the time I got outside, it was there waiting for me.

I know what you mean about driving to a different airport. Roanoke is much closer to me than Charlotte (by about 2 hours), but I've gotten tired of so many cancelled and delayed flights when trying to fly in and out of Roanoke that I sometimes just fly out of Charlotte.

Hey Linda! Did you see me waving back? We circled, and circled, and circled because of lightening. Then had to sit on the tarmac forever, since it wasn't safe for the ground crew to be outside. The airport was a mess. Flights arriving late, leaving late, no baggage getting unloaded, etc. But thankfully, the flight landed okay (after an aborted attempt due to high winds).

I'm in a hotel tonight. I'm driving home tomorrow. It was too late and I was too tired to drive back tonight.

    Hope you're week's going well!
