Hey Linda! Thank you for stopping by to comment on my blog. I know what you mean about the obsessing about the food tracker. That's the part that was getting to me. But I'm trying to work on my attitude and just view it as another tool to use to help me plan and stay accountable. I'm still hoping that once I get the weight back under control, I can rethink my approach to maintenance and not have to rely so much on tracking. Wish me luck!

Hi again, thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog. I should have said that maintenance was harder than losing THIS time. I tried and failed at losing weight for decades. This time, the weight loss stars seem to align just right. I think it was just that I had a good plan and actually stuck with it and saw it through this time. The mistake I made when I hit maintenance was to think, "hey, I got this!" I didn't really have a plan for how to eat when I wasn't trying to lose. I still have a tendency to overindulge when I eat something I like, and to give into cravings so that a "little" indulgence isn't enough. So that's my next challenge. But we can do this, g.f.! Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
