My Goals:
Live a healthier lifestyle--through good nutrition and exercise.

Lose weight.

Get 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night.

Work in my garden.

Go for a walk outside.


My Program:
Doctor says I have pre-diabetes so I'm following Spark plan on the nutrition tracker with my own menu:
- low sodium
- whole foods as much as possible
- Nutritionally balanced, portion controlled meals

Exercise is walking at least 35 minutes every day and strength training 3x a week.


Personal Information:
I love to read, constantly, compulsively.

I enjoy counted embroidery.

My guilty pleasure is Mahjong Connect, although I play Sudoku everyday, too.

Hi Linda! Thank you for the medicinal chocolate - I can always use that! Thanks also for the info on my little buddy, Patch. He lives high in a tree in the woods at the edge of a farm across the street. But he hangs out in my neighbor and my yard quite often. I don't have any idea how old he is, but I've been seeing him for a few years now. He really is getting quite white. I didn't realize squirrels did that. He is actually quite pretty, and looks to be in fine health. I'll have to post his picture sometime.

thanks for stopping by my blog. my knees ache a lot with the spring weather fronts blowing through so not sure if I have improvement yet or not! Weather aches do not go away even with being healthier. But I will take what I can get for improvements. I found in the past that stair climbing helped my knees so I may need to start doing that to see if it still true for me.
