I saw your post about the cards. Wish I could send you mine, I didn't use them. I made my own. I have a total of 26 that I put in order of first desire and then by what I learned in the book. For me this is a long process, the stuff leaks out of my brain all the time and I'm back to square one. Examples: 1)Health Improvement: Decreased blood pressure, cholesterol and A1C. Decreased risk of heart attack, and stroke. Increase vitality, energy and better sleep.
2) Physical Changes: Decreased joint pain, less fat rolls and double chin. Decreased belly fat. I will look better in smaller sized clothes. I will enjoy shopping for smaller clothes. I will enjoy physical activity more.
Hi Linda, I just saw your question regarding response cards torn out from the back of your Beck workbook. Sorry I missed at that time, and I hope you found a solution already. You can prepare your own response cards if you copy the example sabotaging thoughts and helpful responses (or your own) on index cards. This is what I did, because I have the book on my kindle e-book reader and I don't have the workbook at all. May be even more effective then using the "user ready" ones. I bought the workbook for my mom (who never started it) and I saw those response cards in the back are meant to be torn out as one proceeds with the program.
