J-O-Y ...Jesus - Others - You. Wife, Momma, Miss Linda 68 years old and at least 56 more pounds to lose ...Half our county calls me "Miss Linda" from my nursing and daycare work retiring in 2011...Happily married for 39+ years...Have a beautiful 36 yr old daughter...Time to get healthier I'm wanting to be a good example for her as well as healthy for life.
Intro to Sparks in 11/09; Health efforts escalated following two heart stentss on May 23rd, 2014. Then 5/15 I was diagnosed with severe spinal stenosis and peripheral neuropathy and told to prepare for life in wheel chair. Dec 1 2015 I had 8.5 hour spinal surgery and back reconstruction nd have probably regained all the mobility that I can but will fight to maintaintain it nd possibly improve it further with weight loss. I am so thankful I am not in a wheelchair yet and not wearing diapers as first doctor predicted. I met my goal of walking a 5K with two canes 6/18/16. Then began an all out effort to lose weight and maintain this level of mobility.
All that surgery and stress nd aging resulted in some memory loss and slower thinking and speech. Periodic month long challenges are good for my learning curves.

emoticon for joining the "I Can Do All Things Through Christ!" team, Linda.

I wish you continued success with your weight loss.

Take things one healthy meal, one exercise, one positive day at a time and always believe in yourself that you can reach your goal, one pound at a time. emoticon

Thanks for the goodie Linda. I'm glad you saw some movement! You have likely already lost the water with all the fasting you do, the egg fast was likely not as big a "reset" for you.

Keep pushing. You are doing awesome!

Thanks, Linda!! I love to inspire others. Especially about my favorite subject--intermittent fasting!! :) Still have a long ways to go but really encouraged about the progress I've made so far, in a relatively short period of time!! :)
