Journey to a new me !

And so begins the journey to a new me ....
Time to forget the past and move forward.
I have tried and failed many times on this weight loss journey, I'm not saying I won't have bad days again, all I'm saying is this time I will not quit !!!
When I have a bad day, I will just dust myself off, pick myself up and keep going.
This has got to be a lifestyle change, not a DIET!

I read your post on the 'panic' forum and replied to it. I want to encourage (dare!) you to start blogging every day about 3 goals you are working on daily.
I am looking at your program (on your page) and it says eat more veggies: pick a number you wish to eat per day. Make it a goal (step) to avoid junkfood at least 1 day per week (or 3 if you feel up to it, but start small). And post every day about if you've done it or not, and why (not).
You will get support this way. I'm going to your blog right now and subsribe. If you post about your goals, I will comment and try to support / encourage you!

I saw your reply to HONEYLISSABEE on the Panic Button thread and it moved me. I have a serious problem with the all or nothing mentality. I also like to make food the most delicious it can be when I cook (butter, salt, cheese, etc.). I've been on a constant gain/lose cycle since puberty. I have my excuses of course (so does everyone), but honestly I just get really motivated and as that motivation eventually weans... I let things slip. Then I begin resenting having to measure and count every bite of food and start to binge just to binge! I'm currently looking for a buddy because I find that when I have someone to actively talk to and keep me accountable I do so much better. If you'd like to get to know each other, maybe we can buddy up :)

I saw your post on the "Panic! Button thread" and it brought tears to my eyes. I'm going through the same thing. It is heart-wrenching to know someone else out there feels the same way I do (frustrated, disapponited, etc)...but at the same time it is nice to know you're not alone. I wish you the best. Please contact me any time you'd like :)
