I joined SparkPeople in 2006 I think, as a way to help me continue to lose weight for my wedding in 2007. Well, I didn't meet my goal for the wedding but I was about halfway there, and met my goal about 6 months later. It was a lifestyle change, I felt great, and it was a part of my daily routine. Pretty much as soon as I met my goal, I got pregnant and (stupidly) totally quit everything. I didn't care what I ate, I didn't work out, and I gained way too much weight. Now my daughter is 5 ...

My Goals:
Initial goal is to get back down to pre-pregnancy weight (145 or so). Probably another 10lbs or so from there is my final goal.

My Program:
Eating less and working out more. Really, that's all I need to do. I'm working on building my base for running to ensure that I have a good race for a half marathon next year.

My water bottles just arrived today! Haven't gotten a chance to try them yet, I need to wash them first. They look great though! My daughters thought all the colored lanyards were extra prizes for them!!

Hi! :) Thanks. Nah it's not too bad...definitely gets your heart beating and makes you work but I felt good once I had done it (tho my muscles don't agree hahaha)...I thought about trying Jillian's video but she scares me too...Bob's an angel compared to her! :-D

Hey girl, Glad to see you back! Your daughter is absolutely adorable!
I really like the Time to Shine in OH-9 team! (Although I haven't been there much lately) I have been doing the BLC challenges too. We are about 6 weeks in to a 12 week challenge but if your interested I can get you on the list for December when they do the next one.
The biggest help I can be is tell you to write down your goals and then make yourself a plan to 0btain them. Then start working your plan. I have gotten really into Turbo Jam, Chalean Extreme(which is a strength training program) and I have been going to Zumba classes 2x a week.( It is a latin style dance/aerobic class-really fun) I know you can do this! Just start back slow! Take one step at a time and don't overwhelm yourself! I am here anytime!
