Hi! I am a 45 year old wife and mother to 12 yrs old twin boys - nice to meet you!

My NSV award system ~ I have a silver charm bracelet that I hardly wear - i also have a plain black leather bracelet and every time I loose 5 pounds I am going to take a charm off the silver - put it on the leather one and wear it everyday to remind me how far I have come.

1st charm added - 7/1/14 (1st 5lbs gone for good)
2nd charm added - 7/19/14 (2nd 5lbs gone for good)
3rd charm added - 8/16/14 - YEAH
4th charm added - 9/20/14 (took over a month but I did it)
5th charm added - 12/11/14 - NEVER, NEVER EVER GIVE UP

7th charm added - 3/18/15
8th charm added - 4/2/15 - 40 lbs GONE FOREVER!!

10/29/14 - It is time for a fresh beginning! - It is time to recommit! I have lost my focus - it is time to grab it again and run with it. So far I have lost about 20 lbs but it was 25 at one point - been struggling & scared that I am falling back into my old habits - that my hand and mouth does not have a connection to my brain - there is no thought that goes into what I am eating - it just happens & it is all sweets and carb - unhealthy stuff!! - I do not want to be this way! I want to be strong, confident and happy within my body! THIS IS FOR ME AND ME ONLY!!

My Goals:
To lose weight once and for all - no matter how slow as long as it is steady. I want to feel comfortable in my own skin and not dread having to go someplace and have "nothing" to wear. I want to be me! I am doing this for me and me ONLY! I LOVE my husband and my twins but I also want to love me!


My Program:
Staying within my 1200-1500 calorie range, using my treadmill as much as possible. I also also keeping my sugar intake and white carbs to a minimum.

On 1/17/15 - I started both The Beck Diet Solution, "how to think like a thin person by Judith Beck & Linda Spangles - 100 Days of Weight Loss - going to be blogging about it daily to keep me on the up & up.



Personal Information:
I love to read - my Ipad has the kindle app & it is loaded with Fiction. I love military romances and paranormal romances. I love to be taken into "new worlds" that the author has set the stage for & spending time there.

    7. Go to a poetry recital and ask why the poems don't rhyme.

    8..Tell your children over dinner "Due to the economy,
    we're going to have to let one of you go".

    9. Every time you see a broom yell "Honey, your mother is here".

    10. "Hi-lite" your shoes. Tell people that you haven't lost your shoes since you did this.

    11. Pick up a box of condoms at the pharmacy, go to the counter and ask where the fitting room is.
