Learning to love myself

Over the past seven years I....became a new mother, became very comfortable in my relationship with my fiance, and have dealt with some very unique and unexpected stressful months. Overall, I have just let myself go. While creating my own family, I began to stick myself on the back burner. I am tired of being overweight, self conscious, and lazy. I am ready to get my life back. I want to again experience the feeling of being 100% healthy. I am excited to buy flattering clothes, no longer feel self-conscious, learn to love working out, and I am ready to walk down the aisle. I am no longer going to throw in the towel once I come across a challenge and trip over the hurdle. I am ready to pick myself up and continue on the journey. For the first time in my life, I absolutely feel that this time I will succeed. 7.1.2011

My Program:
I am trying my best to maintain consistency. My plan is to consume between 1200-1500 cal/day, workout at least 30 minutes 5X/wk, and make water my beverage of choice.

Personal Information:
Change Your Story, Change Your Results.
Motivation is not something you find or lose, have or don't have. It is the product of how you see yourself in the world: active or passive, effective or ineffective, powerful or victimized, normal or pathological. If you want to be able to motivate yourself, you need to begin seeing yourself as active, effective, powerful, and normal.

IT IS MY RESPONSIBILITY TO MAINTAIN AND REPAIR THE MACHINE THAT PROVIDES ME LIFE.

I need to overcome my natural urge to over-indulge.

Other Information:
There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.

Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.

If we wait for the moment when everything, absolutely everything is ready, we shall never begin.

You will never find time for anything. You must make it.

Those who make the worst use of their time are the first to complain of its shortness.

The present is what slips by us while were pondering the past and worrying about the future.

Motivation is the ability to accept responsibility for your conscious decisions.

Just cruising through leaving everyone with some motivational thoughts for today:

Despise not small things, either for evil or good, for a look may work thy ruin, or a word create thy wealth. A spark is a little thing, yet may kindle the world. ~ Martin Farquhar Tupper

I have learned, as a rule of thumb, never to ask whether you can do something. Say, instead, that you are doing it. Then fasten your seat belt. The most remarkable things follow. ~ Julia Cameron

When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less & less important whether I am afraid. ~ Audre Lorde

It has been my philosophy of life that difficulties vanish when faced boldly. ~ Isaac Asimov

Have a healthy week!!!!
