Love your puppy's picture... what a sweet face!! Welcome to the gardening group! I find the nutritional & fitness trackers to be a real help (and some days a real shock, but it shocks me back on track!!) Motivation is my problem so the friends you make here are so helpful!! I'm guessing you're in the UK somewhere from you group. I'm in Richmond VA so the problems are similar world wide!!! Keep working at it,,,, Practice till its perfect!! or perfectly acceptable!

Hi and welcome! Besides all the great tools and motivational articles on SP, I think writing your own blog is really helpful in getting your thoughts and emotions out where you can see them. And you get very thoughtful, supportive responses when your friends read them. (They can not be read by everyone, just people you friend.) You can also use the journal for things you want to keep private. Journaling really helps you organize your thoughts and get things out in the open. It's the only way to get rid of issues that hang around in the back of the closet and keep you from moving on with your life!

Hi and welcome to SparkPeople. It's a great site and it will help you reach your goals. When I started out (about a year ago) I intended to lose 20 pounds. I enjoyed sparking so much that I lost 30 pounds. I enjoy tracking my food and exercise, reading articles, and connecting with friends and my teams. I hope that you come to enjoy SparkPeople as much as I have.
