Hi there! I'm a 59 yr old wife/mom/grandma/daughter/sister. I have been on dozens of weight loss programs over the years and have even achieved lifetime status thru Weight Watchers. I became ill after reaching my WW goal and have regained almost 40 pounds over the course of 10 months and 3 surgeries I've lost a good portion of that extra "baggage" yet still have 17 pounds to go. My Goals:
I want to be healthy for a long, long time!
I want to get off my blood pressure meds.
I want to be able to keep up with my very active husband.
I want to be successful at this weight loss once and for all!
I want to be a more positive person.









My Program:
I exercise 5-6 days a week. My goal is to get in 10,000 steps a day. I started a walk/run program on the treadmill after seeing an episode of Dr Oz. It's really helping and EASY to do...Of course, healthy eating and drinking a minimum of 8 glasses of water everyday,too. It's fun!

Personal Information:
I'm originally from the NW.We've lived in the Ore/Wa area most of my life. I "retired " at 49 after experiencing some health problems. I have a very supportive husband who encourages me to take care of myself thru diet and exercise.

Other Information:
I love books..especially mysteries. Sue Grafton (A-U),Tami Hoag, Harley Cobain,James Patterson, Janet Evanovich are my favorites!

Hey girl! Share your fitness routine and give me some pointers...I have a one week STREAK of Cardio and Strength Training going but only about 80 Fitness Minutes per week so far emoticon
I'll get there and it's a WHOLE LOT MORE than I WAS doing emoticon
Anyway... emoticon emoticon on the 9250 Fitness Minutes! YOU ROCK!!
