Hi everyone, thanks for visiting my SparkPage! My name is Paula, I live in Mass. and I've lost about 20 pounds on my own so far but now I found Spark and feel I can do even better. I'm going to Portugal with my family this Summer (2010)and that is what motivated me to finally focus on my health and weight IM FEELING GREAT AND ON MY WAY TO FINDING THE OLD ME AND THE"ME" I WAS MEANT TO BE....the happiest me I can be, inside and out :) KEEP SMILING and DON'T EVER GIVE UP!

My Goals:
Eating healthy to be like 2nd nature

My Program:
I have been making a lot of changes to my diet, for example no soda and no white bread. I've started walking and bought a WII. On 5/6 I also just started using the gazelle a few times a week. Feb 2011 I started doing some Zumba/hip hop videos I found on YOUTUBE which I love. When I'm bored with exercises I just put on some good dance tunes and dance around...

Personal Information:
I live in Massachusetts with my husband and 13 year old son and 4 year old beagle Maggie May :)

Other Information:
I havent been logging my food and exercise for a little wihle but I do visit Sparkpeople once in a while for motivation....I LOVE SPARKPEOPLE!

Heyy! Thank you for the comment :) It made my day! As for toning, I did the 12 week program by Jamie Eason called "LiveFit" and I have been using those exercises and creating my own workouts at the gym, now that I am more familiar with the equipment and moves. I love strength training the best! How are you doing? Congrats on winning Biggest Loser, I do that at my work too! ;)

As far as the poem...I posted that 4 years ago and while I write poetry all the time and right off the top of my head, I cannot say for sure if I wrote it. I think I did because I didn't give anyone credit...but who knows.
