I have been on Sparkpeople for 3 years now but only seriously for a year and half. When I am commited to Sparkpeople I have lost 40 lbs. I am living in beautiful NC where I am a teacher and am excited to living a healthier lifestyle.

My Goals:
To become healthier and to feel better about myself. Goal Weight: 145 Want to be able to run at a faster pace. 8 minute mile. Want to fit into a size 8 jean. I think I would die of happiness with this goal. Run another half marathon.
My Program:
Using spark people to track calories and exercise. I am doing activities I enjoy for exercise like hula hooping or walking. Exercise: 3-5 times per week. Eat within calorie range. Eat lots of veggies and fruit.
Personal Information:
I am originally from New England but have moved to North Carolina more than 3 years ago. Since I have been here I have put on almost 30 pounds... I am an Exceptional Children's Teacher... I love my job but it is definitely challenging. I want to be a role model for my students not only by the actions that I take but by the way I look and feel about myself. I lost 40 pounds with Sparkpeople in a year and a half then in the last half of a year 20 pounds have started to creep on. I am looking forward to getting back to Sparkpeople and working on tracking my calories and exercising more.

Hobbies: hula hooping, baton twirling, learning, teaching, poi, watching movies...
