Here we go again...

Professional, mother, & wife. Goal is to get back down to a healthy weight and maintain an active lifestyle. When I was 29 years old, I went from 171 pounds down to 131. Only to discover that I was skinny fat. I had no endurance or strength because all of my severe dieting and exercising had robbed me of my lean muscle. I managed to drop from a size 14 to a size 6 in 4 months. I felt proud of what i had accomplished until everyone started committing that I looked sick.

10 years later, I have yo-yo'd several times, up to 170 to drop to 150, up to 184 to drop to 170, and this time around my weight ballooned at an astonishing 203lbs.

I was tired and sick all of the time. I felt like I was falling apart. Luck of the draw came when i became Lactose intolerant and through the struggle to clean up my diet I lost 10 pounds in what seemed overnight.

I currently weigh 184 and i am achieving my goals through weight training and clean eating. My diet is 99 % clean and lactose free and the 1% is the days that I am craving something salty. So I allow myself those small indulgences to grab 3-4 chips or to have a sweet treat. Don't get me wrong, these are bites and not bags or bars. It is enough to calm the craving and get me back on track.

I weigh in every Wednesday at noon. I participate in the local Weight Watchers although I do not agree with their crap points philosophy and use my extra points throughout the week to eat more protein.

This time around I am fully committed and look at this as a lifestyle and refuse to go back.

My Goals:
My goal may seem realistic but i know I can achieve it. I want to be between 140-145 and have muscles. Not the bulgy manly kind but the sexy curves fitness models have.

My Program:
I am on weight watchers. I am weight training and participating in Jamie Eason's 12 Week LiveFit program. I am in week five of the program and so far it is going great. Once I have completed the program, i will re-assess and see if I want to start the program over or to select a complimentary program to assist me in getting to my goals.

Welcome! If you need a shoulder, a friend or a virtual coffee at some point, drop by and say hello! I've been on SP for just over four months now and am amazed at the absolutely incredible amount of support I've received and thrilled with the results. Now I need to pay it forward ... :)
