Training for the upcoming zombie apocalypse.

Did you see Zombieland? That movie made me realize the importance of cardio fitness. You gotta be able to outrun the undead AND have enough strength to carry firearms, tons of ammo, other weaponry, food, water, etc while hauling ass. Sadly, eating potato chips and sufin' the net does not help in achieving this lofty goal.

I kid of course, but the bottom line is, I want to be more physically capable. I want to be able to count on my body *more* instead of wondering if my energy ...

I kid of course, but the bottom line is, I want to be more physically capable. I want to be able to count on my body *more* instead of wondering if my energy level will make it past the afternoon. The only way to make sure your body is more capable and reliable is to eat healthy and stay active. I'm also tryin' to quit smoking, because unlike badasses, my lungs can't frequently inhale nicotine-laden smoke AND outrun monsters at top speed on my feet.

I actually *know* quite a lot about fitness and nutrition. I have friends who are awesome personal trainers. I've been very fit and healthy before- so it's time to use what I know, and do it again.

There are no shortcuts to being a badass that can... kick ass.

Haha, your page gave me a laugh! Good luck on quitting smoking! I'm working on quitting as well, and I know how much harder it makes cardio workouts...

I am really getting into this ZASsie thing (Zombie Attack Survivalists) and it has really helped me get into my strength training (my weakest area--pun intended.) With every rep I picture one more pack of nabs that I can carry into the hills...Have you thought about leading a ZASsie Team?
