I have been struggling with my weight for what seems like a lifetime. But when I look back on when I was 175 lbs and thought I was fat, I realize that in constantly thinking I was fat, and not appreciating how small I actually was - I might have pushed myself to gain more weight. Which I have... I now weigh 221 lbs and have no real ideal how I got here. My pants are a size 16, and they constantly roll down under my gut. My shoes don't fit. My shirts roll up. I SWEAT and its GROSS.

My goal here is a long term one - I want to lose the 66 lbs I need to - but I am setting a realistic goal (for myself) of 1 lb a week. My short term goal is to fit into the rides at Wonderland that last year were a bit tight because of my ginormous derriere.

But I can't do this alone - I need help. My friends and family are too far away, and my husband, while being VERY supporting, is not really helpful when he is constantly eating cinnamon buns. If there is someone out there in the Hamilton, Ontario area that wants a fitness buddy, please let me know!

I am going to be doing a combination of Yoga and the Jillian Micheals 30 shred DVD. I am also going to be cutting out Tim Horton's and PIzza, and actually putting my crock pot to use.

I to am in Hamilton On with a husband who I think secretly wants me fat lols he says watch your diet constantly which drive me nuts cuz its mine not his and its a lifestyle change not a diet, and then he buys me a bight family size bag of Miss Vickie's for a night-time snak lols eh anyways if you want encouragement from me or want to give me some Im open for it . thake care and thanks

    I forget to blog on here because I have a tumblr blog that I do all my fitness posts on most of the time! I'm trying to get better about doing it here too but sometimes it just slips my mind. I've been doing really great actually, my eating is improving and I recently ran 2.5miles for the first time! (: I hope that you can get out of your slump real soon, I always suggest trying something new in those cases, I recently started playing tennis to change things up a bit!
