I am back! I have been a member of SparkPeople for several years, but I am finally ready to prove to myself that I can reach my goal weight and maintain it. I am so done with the up and down, back and forth, excitement and disappointment of the weight loss and gain cycle. I'm done with all the talk, talk, talking about it! Plus the additional whining, crying, complaining, feeling sorry for myself, wishing, hoping, and dreaming that one day I'll finally be my natural, healthy size.

My current weight it 164.8 pounds and right now I have a goal weight in mind of 120 lbs. I may need to adjust this later when I lose more weight and see what my body looks like as I get closer to goal. I will set goals in 10 lb increments until i have lost 20 lbs, then my goals will be set in 5 lb increments. I will reward myself with something special each time I reach one of my goals.

Starting weight 164.8
Height: 5'1

goal #1: 10 lb loss (ACCOMPLISHED ON 08/21/10)
PRIZE: couples massage with hubby at a luxurious spa. Heaven!
goal #2: 20 lb loss (ACCOMPLISHED 10/08/10)
PRIZE: new pair of cute pajamas. I used to just wear sweats.
goal #3: 25 lb loss (ACCOMPLISHED ON 11/12/10)
PRIZE: bought new shirt and earrings and going dancing with best friend.
goal #4: 30 lb loss
PRIZE: I bought some really nice (expensive) blush I had been wanting for a long time.
goal #5: 35 lb loss
PRIZE: I can't decide what this prize should be yet...
goal #6: 40 lb loss
PRIZE: I want to get some sort of makeover.
goal #7: 45 lb loss
PRIZE: I want to go on some sort of vacation for my final prize.

My Goals:
I will meet these goals by December, 2010:

*buy and fit into a cute dress (I don't own one and haven't in at least 5 years) (ACCOMPLISHED 11/10)

*buy and fit into single digit size jeans (ACCOMPLISHED 10/10)

*buy and wear a swim suit that I feel cute and comfortable in for Cozumel in December (ACCOMPLISHED 12/10)

*submit before/after photos to the Biggest Loser website and to a women's fitness/health magazine






My Program:
I am going to make healthy food choices and think before I eat to help control food binges.

I am eating a lot of fruit and vegetables.

I drink tons of water everyday.

I have reduced my portion sizes dramatically. I used to eat a man's size portion and now I try to eat a "lady-like" portion.

I have reduced how many times per week I dine out.

I have cut out much of the junk food I used to eat, but I still thoroughly enjoy it on occasion.

I love doing zumba, jillian's 30 day shred, jumping rope, and taebo. I exercise 5-6 days per week.




Personal Information:
I am a married mother of two beautiful daughters, ages 9 and 5. I am also a full-time college student, earning a degree in Behavioral Science. I will graduate by spring of 2010. My hobbies include singing, photography, dancing, hiking with my family, traveling, reading,learning new things, and shopping!


Other Information:
My favorite quote is "Don't talk about it, be about it!" And I am going to do just that. This time I am going to prove that I'm not just talk, but that I can truly accomplish what I set out to do!
