Updated 1 April 2011. Only 5kg from goal now, it's so close I feel like I'm not just imagining it every day, but starting to actually live it - I'm getting stronger running and feeling great. People tell me I look younger and I know I feel it! I love being able to play with my kids physically, and use my self-control muscle when it comes to food and 'just doing it' with exercise.

I could spend my time thinking how long this weight loss has taken me (15 months and counting), bemoaning how many years I was overweight, or I can rejoice in the fact that I've spent these last 15 months doing something so worthwhile. I feel like I've taken my life back again. Yay!

Update 26 December 2012. I've wandered in the wilderness in recent months, but I'm back. I've re-set my ticker - definitely a depressing thing to do, but I'm being honest with myself and am ready to get strong and healthy again.

My Goals:
I'd like to be healthy and at goal weight (64-ish kg) by this time next year (September 2011) when we return to Australia for a visit. I will lose the weight through sensible eating and exercise - a real life change.

Sticking to my calorie limits, lower carb/higher protein.

Hi Stranger,

Haven't heard from you in a while and I see you have not earned any new trophies in over a year. I guess everyone takes time off from SP as life's demand take priority but I hope you are still holding to your healthy lifestyle goals. I'm starting over with this New Year.
