I have been on this road my entire life. I have always been the chunky girl!! I have hated myself for so long. I have done the same cycle over and over to lose weight, I get discouraged, and then quit! Over and Over and Over again. I found out two years ago I was Hypothyroid! Yay! Take a pill, lose weight. Finally I have a reason I can"t lose weight...........Nope......I gained about 20 pounds!!
Well I am back to work on it again. I started July 16th on my get healthy journey. I have cut out soda, and try to stay within my 1300-1600 calorie range. I have noticed a huge difference already! I am really trying to focus on the other goals of eating healthy, how my clothes feel, how I feel, my energy level. I have decided this is not a diet but what MY body needs! So here is to staying focused and in control and really listening to my body.....for once in my life!!!!!

I am trying to stay within my calorie range SparkPeople recommends- 1300 to 1600 calories a day.
I am really focusing on healthier foods and trying to reduce my overall sugar intake! No more soda!!
I am trying to stick with the recommended 1700 calories to burn each week.
I am a Certified Veterinary Technician in Tucson Arizona. I love my job!!
I am married and a mother of 2 kids, a pug, and a cat!
I am 5' 3" and will be turning (Gulp) 42 years old in April!
Sure glad I don't feel that old!!!
