I have two beautiful daughters and a wonderful husband who supports my every step. In January 2011, my youngest daughter turned two. I think that it is time to stop calling this "baby weight" and recognize that I am the proud owner of "mommy weight.".

I am starting Weight Watchers with several coworkers in a couple of weeks, but I am too anxious to begin this journey. I cannot wait to change my life. I am taking action now!

I'll begin with a weigh-in tomorrow morning. Owning it is the first step, right?!

2/5/11: 188.8 (BMI 34.5)

Goals:
-Lose 5% of body weight(@ 180lbs)
-Lose 10 lbs (@ 178 lbs)
-Lose 20 lbs
-Enter the Overweight BMI range (@ 163 lbs)
-Lose 10% of body weight (@160 lbs)
-Lose 30lbs
-Lose 40 lbs
-Lose 50 lbs
-Hit a Healthy BMI (@ 136 lbs)
-Maintain!!!

My Goals:
My most important goal is feeling good about myself. My weight has been an issue for me as long as I can remember, but during my pregnancy I feel like I really let myself go (though trying to do everything right)! Now, I am ready to make some permanent lifestyle changes!

My Program:
Run 4-5 times a week.

Walk with my daughters 3 times a week.

Weights 4-5 times a week.

I did really like Tosca's book. I need to re-read it. I started working part time and it's been a challenge to stay active and eat right. But it just reiterates everything I've learned... like today... I hardly ate anything all day (meetings/busy) so when I got home I ate way too much pre prepared pasta dinner. Loaded with salt too... and tomorrow is weigh in day. :( Hey how's your husband's new job going? Oh and one last thing... renewing our mind to the WORD... so important in weight loss. I've been slacking in that area, with God involved, things go so much better! :)
