Hello everyone!!! I am a mom of 3 wonderful children. After having my last one I can honestly say I have never been this size before and I can definitely feel it in my body. Together, I think all of us can achieve what we are searching for in ourselves. Be it just weight loss, or finding and digging into what has put us here in the first place. Remember, each day is fresh, with no mistakes in it. I know you can do this...and so can I. :)

March 2016 ~ The Spring 5% challenge is ...

March 2016 ~ The Spring 5% challenge is starting soon! Can't wait to see what I can accomplish during this 8 week challenge! I'm getting set up today to prepare myself for successful, healthy weight loss!

I restarted my Healthy Journey on 01/06/15 at 212.6 pounds.

Reward: SO said if I reach 160 he will buy me $1,000 worth of new clothes. Never spent anywhere near that on clothing for myself so I am way excited for this. I had him put that in writing for me lol.

Reward: Go to the mall shopping for those new clothes & order a Starbucks grande caramel macchioto with skim milk with two extra shots of espresso! I better get on that treadmill right now...

Also to be able to do these things as well:

*Drink enough water
*Exercise at least 6 days a week.


My Program:
5% Spring Challenge
Exercise Plan:

Cardio 60 minutes per day

Strength training every other day.

Eating Plan:

A whole foods clean eating approach.

I also try to eat as naturally as possible. Staying away from processed food, artificial sugars, extra unnecessary colors and preservatives and choosing organic when I can.

Personal Information:
I am living in Minnesota right now, spent 11 years in North Dakota and I absolutely LOVED it!!! I enjoy just about any activities, outdoorsy stuff or crafts too.

Other Information:
Remember that in life we are here to bring people up, not down, with the things we say and do.

No kid ever remembered his best day of television.

Sign ups for the Biggest Loser Challenge for the summer are going on now if you are interested. You can get on the waiting list and then they will assign you if you get your name on early. It is great for motivation and great team goals per week. There are 24 members per team and your compete. It is a lot of fun and great motivation to keep going. It is a 10 weeks challenge if you are interested. It started the first week of June but sign up are going on.

You may beat me to Onederland again as the pace I have been losing has been so slow. I have lost less than 5 total pounds in the past 2 a half months almost. I seem to have hit a never ending plateau that does not want to allow me in the 100's. I am eating like a rabbit today hoping that I can get their by Sunday so I can say I did it in the Monday on April. I still have over 50 left to go after I hit my first large milestone but it would be nice to hit it.

How are you doing with the 5% challenge. I am still in somewhat of a plateau so I am struggling to lose .03 at this point. I still have not hit Onederland yet. Only 1.1 pounds away! I was hoping it would happen before the end of this month.
