inspired, feeling good now

Hi, a few years ago I posted the following.."Soon to be 60 and after all these years I finally feel that I am in control of my eating and exercise program..." Well lost the controlled feeling and up and trying to lose the 30 lbs again, this time, trying the Atkins low carb diet. I never would have tried it but after listening to others and reading the new book I have decided to give it a try.
Favorite exercises: hiking/walking trails, swimming and active gardening and racquetball. ...

Favorite exercises: hiking/walking trails, swimming and active gardening and racquetball. Inside, I use my treadmill, Air Dyne bike, old Nordic Tract ski machine and core exercises with DVD's, floor and weight exercises.
I love to garden and spend a lot of time in it. It's fun in the springand fall but also keeps me from staying inside too much in the winter and summer hot days

My Goals:
Make a routine with daily exercise on machines, walking dog when weather allows.
`Lose 30 lb in 6 month.
Become fit enough to play racquetball better.
`fit in all my clothes and feel good buying new ones.

My Program:
1. Start and keep a good routine of exercise and build on it.
2.Start low carb diet.


Personal Information:
WrittI am now down to the weight I haven''t seen in years and feeling just wonderful. I live with my husband, I have grown children who live in other states. I love to garden and spend a lot of time there especially in the summer. We live 15 mi from a small city and people are always surprised to see "all the beautiful flowers out there." We like also like to grow a lot of our produce. Keep busy mostly with propagating, trimming, weeding, and making compost for new gardens.
I love to walk but prefer to find good places to hike. Now when I don''t get exercise for a day or so I feel the craving to get back to it.

Other Information:
Looking for anyone who has been on the Atkins new low carb plan.......I could use any advise..especially in all the measuring of vegetables etc.
