Hi I am trying to figure out how to update my page!
My goals are a lot different now since I was actually at a healthy weight on spark, but then I had an injury.
I have learned so much thanks to sparkpeople, so much that I will not ever leave the Site. These tools have actually changed my entire life, permanently. It is great!
Even though I get busy and may be away for a while, I will always come back :-) See, I did it again!

My Goals:
My main goal is to get healthy, and to lose weight in the process.

I had a back injury after finally getting to a healthy weight with sparkpeople. I gained some weight fro mmy injury and now I am trying to take on a more ambitious goal, since I still have less weight to lose then when I first began!

I want to continue to Learn healthy eating habits and strategies and pass them to my son to give him a healthy lifestyle as he grows up.

My Program:
I STILL do the spark diet health guidelines (carbs proteins, fats). Plain and simple (Thats all. No gimmicks, no fads). Ive learned so much from nutrition articles on spark, I use them to build MY OWN healthy/healthier meals cuz the meal plans cant handle my wild tastes :) I do scan for spark recipes often, & have had lot of great finds.
1. NO CUTTING CARBS. Your brain only runs on carbs silly. Just eat whole grains, its all good. The worst thing I do now is eat 50/50 whole grain/refined, and thats if I dont really have a choice.
2. COOK YOUR OWN FOOD! Dont waste money on unhealthy food. Prepare healthy versions of your faves! Save $ too!
3. MAKE SMART SUBSTITUTIONS! Again, sparkpeople has it right. I would NEVER have made it if I kept trying to fit in all that other stuff.
4. SET FITNESS GOALS. I am particpating in the annual SF Bay 2 Breakers 12k, & this gives me something healthy 2 look forward 2 each year & will help me focus on a fit lifestyle

Personal Information:
I dont judge people out there in the world, especially with harsh criticism. I stay away from making generalizations about groups of people, or labeling someone because of the way they look. We are all individuals living lives that no one else can truly get a handle on- sometimes I cant get a sure grip on my own experience either! I believe in loving my neighbors who are everyone on this planet, and that includes respecting differences in opinions as well. I hope the people I come across will return that sentiment.

I never felt such a strong and good spirit for God just through reading their words like it was with you. It was like you were ON FIRE for God!!!
