Contolling those urges!

THE BEGINNING:
I started my weight loss journey on January 1, 2008. My starting weight was 233. I gradually started working out a couple of days a week and then joined a Weight Watchers group in March. My beginning weight at week one was 228. During the next 12 weeks I began losing anywhere between -.8 to -4.0 a week. My ending total loss was 19.8 or ending weight of 208. During my time in weight watchers, my place of employment began a Wellness Program. These random challenges ...

These random challenges motivated me to work out more and it introduced me to a personal trainer. To date, I am still with a personal trainer and last weighed in at 183.2. THAT IS A TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS OF 50! Goal #1 accompolished and now on to goal #2... losing another 32-35 pounds (150lbs).

MIDDLE:
I have been struggling with motivation lately and keep flucuating between the 180's & 190's. My measurements haven't changed which is good, just the number on the scale. I have been signing up for 5k's to keep me running more outside and build up my endurance. I still workout with a personal trainer 3x a week and try my best to do things on my own. Stress at work is back due to the bad economy so this could play into the lack of motivation.

CURRENT:
I took a long hiatus and had a baby! I was due November 2011 but he decided to come early and was born in September. Now that the holidays are over, this added weight along with the baby weight needs to go! My starting weight was 246.6 which is the most I have ever weighed! As of June 2012, I have lost 6% of the weight and still pushing. Now that its summer, it's time to take the little one on more hikes and walks around the neighborhood.

My Program:
Not sure yet, but with a new baby he is sure keeping me busy!

Personal Information:
I'm 38 years old and have been married for 4 years. We just had our first child (boy - Aidyn Joseph) and 2 cats. I've always been a yo-yo dieter, losing 30 then putting it back on. After getting pregnant and packing on the pounds, it's time to lose that 50lbs again!

Congratulations on your beautiful little boy!! I've had three kids, so I know how it feels to have all of that baby weight. I didn't help myself by "eating for two," either! lol It's frustrating, but you have the tools to lose the weight. Plus, I've found that creating a healthy lifestyle for my kids is great motivation! My daughter was 28 months old when I ran my first marathon - she would put on my medal and run around the house in her onesie saying, "I running marathon like mommy!" Glad to see you back!
