Hi, I want to be healthy and fit again. Five years ago I was in a size 4 and was eating healthy and exercising regularly. I was even running 10k's! I felt great! But then I slacked off big time on food choices and exercising and put on 45 pounds along with a hefty dose of self-loathing related to it! Ugh. Hi, I want to be healthy and fit again. Five years ago I was in a size 4 and was eating healthy and exercising regularly. I was even running 10k's! I felt great! But then I slacked off big time on food choices and exercising and put on 45 pounds along with a hefty dose of self-loathing related to it! Ugh. With 2013, I re-dedicate myself to Sparking and finally doing this the right way, FOR REAL, not just short term, but for a lifetime. I am tired of trying and then giving up and failing. I need to change this pattern. Move forward and maintain and no slipping back! I believe in healthy food choices, plenty of fresh air, water, and exercise! It's harder than it seems sometimes though, I've had some bumps along the road, and some days are harder than others. I'm learning a lot, especially about myself. I am 49 and have three awesome kids (23, 21, 17). I live in Fredericksburg, VA with my wonderful boyfriend. I choose to work out at home. I get up at 5:00 am and get in a good workout first thing in the morning. It really helps me start the day off on a positive note. I work out with DVDs (The FIRM Classics are my favorites by far, but I also like all the "Older" FIRMs, Turbo Jam, and Cathe DVDs. I am really dedicated to losing the weight, getting healthy and fit, and maintaining it for a lifetime. I feel that failing at this is not even an option anymore. I MUST AND I WILL SUCCEED. My goal is 135 and I am on track to attain it!

My Goals:

My Program:
I am working out a minimum of 5 times a week for at least 45 minutes, and making better food choices. I am also trying to drink more water.

Welcome to Indoor Rowers. I think the rowing machine is the BEST indoor cardio choice, it works so many muscle groups, plus challenges the cardio, so strength training and cardio in one package.
