I did well throughout most of my pregnancy with my weight. I did gain a little more then I wanted to though. I ended up gaining 50 lbs. I lost about 20 lbs within 2 weeks of giving birth so I still need to lose about 30 lbs more to be at my pre-pregnancy weight. I am breast feeding so I am sure this will be a bit of a struggle trying to lose weight, keep up supply, and not be hungry.
It seems I have strayed a bit more then I would have like to on this wonderful journey I have been taking. I was doing quite well in the beginning and thought it would be a breeze to continue eating well and exercising throughout my pregnancy. Well I was definitely wrong about that because now I am slipping into old habits of not working out and eat whatever I want and it worries me. I often wonder what will happen after my little bundle of joy arrives. So even though I am a little late in the game I am going to try and finish this pregnancy as healthy as I possibly can.
I'm now a newlywed!! (8/6/11) Yay :)
As far as my weight journey goes, I have strayed quite bit. Before the wedding I started Turbo Fire which I absolutely LOVED. I ended up completing approximately 14 of the 20 weeks before heading off to my honeymoon. With this program I was able to lose about 10 lbs even though I wasn't tracking everyday. My goal weight was 135 lbs, however I did not meet that. I was 155 lbs when I got married. Over the past 6 months I have been tracking food on and off. I just can't get back into the groove of losing weight again. I know that for me to lose weight I really have to pay attention to portion sizes and quality of food I am putting in my body.
For Christmas I received a bodybugg and thought this program was going to be the end all be all of my weight loss. I thought that the fat would just melt off from me and it would be easy. The only problem with this is that I was not mentally ready to do this program. I hadn't been tracking for months and my exercise routine was basically non existent. I would work out here and there, but I didn't have a plan. I do have to say that I love the fact that I can see exactly how many calories I am burning when I get off the couch and walk into the kitchen. This device is SO accurate. So in order for the program to work I decided 3 weeks ago that I would start Turbo Fire again. This was was going quite well and I had lots of few lbs when my hormones went crazy and I couldn't stop eating. I gained weight again bringing me back up to 166.6 lbs
Because my husband and I are newlyweds we are thinking about becoming parents soon and I got nervous that if it were to happen sooner then later that the Turbo Fire program might be a little too intense for carrying a baby. I did some research and everything says it's OK to do especially if you have been doing it, but I am still a little skeptical of this and want to be sure.
So here I am once again about a year later logging back into sparkpeople. This seems to be the only place I can get peace of mind and know that I will be able to lose weight. Having a sparkpage, being able to journal, being part of teams, and having peer support really is the way to go when trying to lose weight. I am hopeful that this time I will be able to get the jump start I needed to get my weight under control once again.

Found out I was pregnant in Oct 2012
In January I made the commitment to losing weight again because I knew my wedding was coming up. My new program was Turbo Fire. I vowed to do it right so I started with the inferno plan which was a 1 week menu to jump start weight loss. It truly did work because I lost 5.2 lbs using this and the recommended workouts.

Using my heart rate monitor, being part of teams, and really tracking everything I was able to reach goals. On the other hand this year was rough for me as I had a break up early in the year and by the end of the year I had found the love of my life (my husband). Because of the life changes there were lots of struggles

This is the year that I started to take responsibility of my weight. I had never tracked calories or fitness minutes/calories. For Christmas this year I recieved a heart rate monitor. This brought my fitness to a whole new level.

Hi there!!! Sorry for the delay...crazy around here, and I don't get much time on an actual computer (vs. phone and ipad time :)) I will definitely get some pics on here. We had a great time and already planning the next one, plus planning a warrior dash for next year :) So excited!!!
As for lbs lost, I've been yo-yo-ing :( But, I am back on track and lets hope it goes down and stays down!!
We are in the middle of a kitchen remodel, so not sure how much time I'll have online :( We hope to have the major stuff done this weekend so we can at least put the kitchen back together, and have my living room back too :p

I understand. I am having a hard time staying on track too. I've been up and down the last couple of months. So, I hope I didn't come off as judgmental. I am certainly not an expert, lol. I'm just taking it one day at a time, as the say :)

Hey there!! I hope things are going well...looks like you struggled a bit, but hope you're back on track now!!! I know vacations are tough!!
Things here the next few weeks are gonna be crazy!! So excited to be a family again :) I'm a bit worried about nutrition the next few weeks...gonna pack some healthy snacks and lots of water!! Will just have to do my best :)
I have been taking pics all along. I'm not sure I'll ever eat "clean" enough for the abs I want...I still like my junk food :p Anyway, better get moving. It's cleaning spree day!! YAY (hear the sarcasm??). PS...that 3 lbs was after a gain of 2 :( So, I lost a pound :)

Hey there!! Sorry I totally spaced on responding to your comment. I'm really liking the BBL program. It definitely gives you a total body workout and feels like it's doing a great job of toning me up all over. I posted a couple photos of some muscle definition I've got going on if you want to check those out. Some reviews I read commented that Leandro was too cheesy, but I think he's funny in a goofy sort of way. This week is more 4th week, so I'll be taking pics and measurements to check my results and then I'll really know how much it worked. Based on what I know now, though, I would definitely recommend it. :-)

We all have bad food weekends!! I did too :( No worries...back at it!! You're doing great!!
As for my Advocare challenge, yes, all done, sorta :p The first 10 days is a cleanse, and after that you fill your body with nutrients and you can continue on that program as long as you want :) I got off of it for a while, but I have noticed I have no more spunk, so I'm starting back on it today. I ended up losing 5.6lbs and 5 1/2". I always lose in the 1st 10 days, and then slow down the next 2 weeks. No biggie, as it hasn't come back on!! That is what matters LOL!!
Now I started lifting weights, so not sure how my weight will go!! But I've seen so many changes in ME that I don't care (too much). I did have before pics, and attempted after pics. Should have had a kid take them LOL I guess I still could.
Signed up for a color run with some friends! It's not until october, but I'm so excited!! I've wanted to do one of them, so when she asked, I jumped on it!! Also going to do our town 5k, but that's in August. Haven't decided if I'm doing more or not...Once labor day hits, it's hard to do much, as the kids have soccer every saturday morning.
Anyway...sorry to "talk" your ear off!! How are things going on your end?? I see sparkpeople post you've lost a lb here and there. CONGRATS!!
