Life's been good to me so far....
Borrowed the title from Joe Walsh, hopefully he won't miss it. I am Darla from Louisiana and want to keep better track of my diabetes and get healthier. I am a strong proponent of HAES (Health at Every/Any Size) and am not waiting to lose weight to have fun and really live a good life. If I did, I would be waiting a very long time. Recently lost a bunch of weight from being sick and while my doctor congratulated me on the weight loss, I didn't feel any better or healthier, so that's a fallacy. ...

Don't get me wrong; I don't mind losing weight, and usually do when I track what I am eating, but I am not one who thinks being fat is in itself unhealthy. After all, people come in all sizes and I love the great variety.
