    HI! Thanks for commenting on one of my pictures. It's crazy to me that I had soooo much "back" and have been able to whittle it down this significantly. I feel awkward posting my "butt" pictures but I know for myself that those show good progress and can be encouraging.
    You asked if I changed up my diet and/or increased my exercise...honestly it was more exercise than diet. I have had a superb diet for at least the last 4 years...we are pretty much all organic/all natural, grass fed meat, no MSG, High fructose, corn syrup, whole wheat etc etc....so, WHAT I was eating was not truly the issue it was portion control...I was a big snacker, I love cheese so with Spark's tracking tool I was able to be accountable to what I was eating...good food just too much of a good thing. Our diet is ever changing...we dropped pork 1 year ago, dropped can sugar almost 2 years ago(we use Palm Sugar you can buy at Asian stores), I cook daily, or have my daughters cook...we don't eat out a ton...rarely if ever eat fast food, we recently cut out anything with canola oil and natural flavors..even with our Organic stuff...so as we research our "food" we implement changes...with our goal being to take it the highest quality of food that we can....and to think, our healthy diet simply started out years ago by just reading labels for the words MSG or high fructose...
    Regarding exercise....I workout A LOT!! I have a spreadsheet and I plan my workouts a month in advance so that I a strength training and getting cardio. I work out 6 days a week and sometimes I even do 2 workouts a day so truly it's been BURNING off this fat!! I hope some of that was helpful. I suppose it is good to know..I am a real person, a mom, a wife that is getting this thing done...not overnight but over time!! I wish you the best on your journey too :) Clarissa

    You posted on my page back in November..thanks! I haven't done all that well as you can probably tell by my lack of entries. Actually, I've been up and down, but am now at the same weight I was at 39 when I started! Now, almost 2 years later...I am finally getting serious! My husband decided to train for a half marathon with me and I plan to make the most of the training/fitness/getting healthy/eating better that I can! My goals are to eat less and move more...and be way stronger on May 5th when we do the Indy mini-marathon. I have 4 kids, oldest is 17, youngest is 3. No grandkids :-). I did the half marathon at Wright Patterson Air Force base the last 2 years and truly I don't know how I finished as my training was anything but complete...would love to connect and encourage!!
