Be Present. Radiate.

A few of my favorite things in no particular order...

1. The moments when you take in a concept or thought that reflects the essence of love, truth, understanding, compassion, stillness, space, wholeness, unity, and it really resonates & you have a feeling of suddenly remembering, like you've known this all along.

2. Warm, sunny days on which to take long mountain hikes.

3. The experience of being well nourished, full of energy, flexible, strong, loved, ...
A few of my favorite things in no particular order...

1. The moments when you take in a concept or thought that reflects the essence of love, truth, understanding, compassion, stillness, space, wholeness, unity, and it really resonates & you have a feeling of suddenly remembering, like you've known this all along.

2. Warm, sunny days on which to take long mountain hikes.

3. The experience of being well nourished, full of energy, flexible, strong, loved, loving.

4. Perfectly brewed teas of many flavors like Rose Marzipan, Lady Grey, Chai, Plum White Tea.

5. A rainy day with a good book, the above mentioned tea, and a comfy place to curl up.

6. Live music & dancing with large groups of funky people.

7. A farmers market full of fresh, locally grown and produced vegetables, herbs, dairy, meats, plants, flowers, prepared foods, honey...the sights, sounds, smells, textures, colors, flavors....

8. A dinner table seated with 2, 12, or more people, full of dishes prepared with fresh whole ingredients and love. Music, laughter, genuine conversation.

9. When you realize that a streak of good changes in your life have all of the sudden become regular habits.

10. When you reconnect with a friend you hardly ever get to see and it's like you didn't miss a day.

11. Encountering people who are fully engaged in living their lives for the benefit of the greater good.

12. Resounding rolling oms in a big room full of people right after a group yoga practice.

13. Making things like earrings and felt food.

14. Chicken coops.

Be full of energy and vitality. Be balanced and full of gratitude.

Have a healthy cholesterol level.


Maintain good eating habits...no cookies at midnight, lots of fruits, veggies, whole grains and lean proteins.

Fit into this one pair of pants that I've had forever and I just can't let go of because they are a really funky print and you can't find them any where else. I want to wear them to a music festival or a show and shake my lil' booty!

Be present.





My Program:
Exercise 10 minutes per day.


Eating clean for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Making sure to include one or two healthy snack, lots of water, vitamins and omegas.

Planning ahead: preparing breakfast ahead of time, healthy lunches to take to work, and dinner all with fresh, organic, lean ingredients.

Staying motivated with the spark community.









Personal Information:
I am a mom to a toddler. In my adult life, I have weighed as little as 111 pounds after having an intestinal parasite that I got in Africa and 189 pounds when I was pregnant. My goal is to weigh 130 pounds.

I've been all over the place. I grew up in Costa Rica, lived for extended periods of time in 5 different countries, lived in three differnt states in the US. I've traveled through Africa, South East Asia, India, Central and South America, the Caribbean, Europe, and many places in the US....

I am passionate about public health, especially HIV Prevention and harm reduction programs for IDU.

I believe in non-violence. I believe we are all one human family. I believe there is no way to peace. Peace is the way.
