Hi there! I stumbled upon Sparkpeople a couple of years ago but I did not put it into action until the end of September 2010. I lost about 35 pounds with this website, then I failed myself by not following through. I am not as heavy as I had been, but I have gained much of it back. My new goal is where I was Memorial day 2011. I need to learn to balance my time on sparkpeople so that it is not always all or nothing. I KNOW there is a great spot in between that I need to find.

I have learned so much here but these are the top two.
1. Have a clear goal & you CAN achieve it.
2. Do not do it alone, there are so many people here who will help you.
Dive in & make use of all these wonderful FREE tools & get your life headed in the direction you want to be.

My Goals:
To be the best wife, Mom, & MeMa I can be.
Show by example how important your choices are.
Short term goals;
Eat healthier
Minimum of 20 minutes of cardio @ least 5 days a week.
Short term goal
workout at least 5 days a week
add more protein to my diet
Long Term
To lose 35 lbs & have the knowledge & the love for myself to keep it off. Lower my blood pressure. Look good in clothes. Shrink my belly.

My Program:
Sparkpeople daily.
Try to cut out 85% of the sugar & bad fats @ least 6 out of 7 days a week.
Be in constant search for new Yummy healthy recipes that my children will enjoy & that will make us healthier. Walk daily.
Move it, Move it, Move it!

Personal Information:
I am almost 45 years old. I am married to my best friend. We have 6 Amazing children, ranging from 26 years old down to the caboose who just turned 11.
We are blessed with a 2 Gorgeous Granddaughters &
a Very Handsome Grandson, with 2 more grand babies due this year.

Thanks for your comment on my page wishing me a wonderful anniversary. It was really great. We got to spend some good quality time together. But I'm also eager to get back to business as usual -- can't wait to do my regular workout tonight!
