Lazy is Pathetic!

I have spent the past 10 years blaming my weight gain on things and people other than myself. I blamed my night binging on ex-boyfriends who had broke my heart, on good friends that have the amazing feat of eating chili-cheese fries and not gaining weight, on my mom who spent my entire high school "career" trying to convince me that my weight was actually an issue. I tried everything, not eating, eating only apples, drinking only juice, exercising a ton while still binging at night. I struggled ...

I blamed my night binging on ex-boyfriends who had broke my heart, on good friends that have the amazing feat of eating chili-cheese fries and not gaining weight, on my mom who spent my entire high school "career" trying to convince me that my weight was actually an issue. I tried everything, not eating, eating only apples, drinking only juice, exercising a ton while still binging at night. I struggled with eating when i was bored, sad, angry, happy, and any other emotion you can come up with. It was my way to celebrate, mourn, etc. My weight crawled, i became lazy even though i have always loved being active. I began to question my boyfriend when he called me beautiful because i didn't feel like i was. I hated my body, i hated my job, my car, my everyday way of life. Then, I decided something. I decided that the healthy lifestyle wasn't to please my mom, boyfriend, dog, etc. But it was for ME. ME. ME.ME... now, everyone in my life are all a lot happier since i started this "journey." But you know why they are? It's not because they thought i was ugly and overweight, but because of how happy i have become. I'm not 3 sizes smaller, but i FEEL 3 sizes smaller. I haven't found the perfect job, car, paycheck, LIFE.... but it feels like i have because for once i am soooo happy with myself and the person i have become and continue to work towards everyday. I AM CHANGING. and i am loving every damn second of it :) Here's to a life of happiness!

ME TOO! And I just bought new booty lifting yoga pants so basically I need to do it again RIGHT NOW! lolol. I might have to wait for the week after next to do it again because of schedual but every friday at 2 that I can I am going to zumba it up! :)

Oh my gosh. I am going to have a love affair with Zumba. Someone may have to have an intervention at some point lolol. We did a mix of latin dance, hip-hop, and even 20's dancing! It was amazing!
