2009 Goals:

*Lose the last 10 pounds!
*Lower bodyfat to between 20-25%. (1/3/09 - 29%)
*Eat clean and healthy.

My biggest hurdle with the events are to gain speed. I am joining the LLS (Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) Team in Training.

I also need to purchase a new bike, which will happen in February, I believe. (NOTE: new bike is purchased! I LOVE IT! It is a Specialized and the perfect size for me.)

Other Goals:
1. Pray more; read the Bible more.
2. Get more involved with church.
3. Read one book a month that will expand my mind.
4. Graduate! 6/8/09 (B.S. in Business Management)
5. Stay more connected with friends and family.
6. Be a better wife.
7. Perhaps... start my bridge program to my PhD in I/O Psychology.

My Goals:
I will lose 10 pounds by 3/31//09. (12/14/08 - 10 to go!)

I will exercise six times a week, three of which will be strength training.

I will eat clean and healthy.

I will forgive myself and move on when I have bad days.

2008 Goals:
Involved in a 10 week X-Treme Body Makeover through Musical Aerobics - start 9/29/08 (complete!).

I will complete a 40 mile bike ride on 9/6/08 (punked out. :-()

I will complete a Sprint Triathlon on 8/24/08 in Colo, IA. (Hickory Grove Triathlon) (completed)

I will be part of the Hyvee Triatholon running the 10K as part of a relay team on 6/22/08. (Too many entries, we weren't accepted, maybe next year,)

I will run a 10K on 6/14/08. (COMPLETED! Although not officially on the race course since I was flooded in DSM, but I ran via phone with my

My Program:
I am focusing on speed and distance with swimming, biking, and running. I am slow in each area and hope to really get a pace of 6 mph running, 15 mph biking, and 500 yards in under 15 minutes in swimming.

I plan on taking the triathlon training at the YMCA starting in March.

I am still focused on completing at two sprint tris in 2009 and MAYBE Hyvee (haven't decided yet).

I am eating six times a day, a protein and a carb and including fruits and veggies keeping my fat within my range.

Personal Information:
I have a husband and a little boy, who is three (my light of life).

Originally from Green Bay, WI, I am a Packers fan.

Other Information:
I love Janet Evonovich books and the Stephanie Plum series.

I love self improvement books and information.

I am a lifelong student currently in pursuit of my Masters.

my CHALLENGE team has an 5 day mini-challenge.........
today i challenge you to do this... right now... its easy...

turn your head to the right, hold it and count to 5
now to the left for 5 counts
look way up for 5
now down for 5

move your arms up/down like a seated jumping jack 5 times

walk 20 steps

reach your fingers toward your toes, count to 5

now sit back down.... don't you feel good!!?!! lol

Thanks for the comment. I don't see myself as a motivator and it's very humbling to hear that! I'm getting anxious for the weather to warm up so we can start swimming at RR or Gray's again!!

I'm doing much better. I think I was still feeling the effects of the cyst rupture. I still have some pain here and there, but all in all I'm able to exercise and have been doing really well.
I get to the Y every Monday to swim and sometimes on Wed. I've been running over my lunch hour. I think from work, around Gray's and back is 3.25 miles and I did it in 32 min on Thurs! Exciting!!
How have you been? You'll probably kick my butt this summer!
