About myself, well I confess to being just a bit nutty. After all have you ever met someone who was "normal"?
I have lots of hobbies: ballet, sewing, cake decorating, but very little time. In my "spare time (haha) I try to do some of these things. Reading mysteries, biographies and history books is another hobby.
I've included some photo's of flowers I've recently made for my brother's wedding. Pictures of the dresses will follow soon.
I love to talk to people (and I'll talk to you even if you do not want to hear me), laugh and generally have fun.
I take great joy in my faith (I'm a Christian but hopefully not a religious person), and try to live it in all aspects of my life. My family and friends are also very important to me.
Here are a few of my favorite quotes + motto's:
Psalm 37: "Trust in the Lord and do good, and He will give you the desires of your heart".
A great pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do.
- Walter Bagehot
"Now and then it's good to pause in our pursuit of happiness and just be happy".Guillaume Apollinaire
"If you torture numbers long enough, Nature will confess" unknown.
"Attitude to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break [a person]. The remarkable thing is that we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change or past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is attitude.. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it... we are in charge of our "Attitudes". Charles Swindoll.
