Hello again: Early morning runs 5 am were definitely my favorite when I was working. Now that I am home with the children , early mornings are great in the summer and fall but spring and winter are wet, cold snowy and I prefer after dinner....sometimes in the summer I would get an early 1/2 run in at 6:30-7 and then after dinner at 6:30 again. Lately though with the children in music, dance and hockey after school is dedicated to driving ...so my strategy was to get up early and run on the treadmill and strength train before they awoke.....didn't happen yet! I did think about getting treads for my runners to try winter running ....I did do this years back and fell on black ice once ...that was enough for me to start the treadmill....but I never had treads on.
