My Goals:
My main goal is to lose 75-85 pounds to reach my healthy weight.

* lose 5 pounds per month

*increase my walking to work and around town.

*Actually complete a Jillian Michael s video. usually I give up after round 2.

*eat healthier options and control my portions.

My Program:
To meet my goals:

1: Use my spark trackers

2: Measure and scale my food.

3: Get 30 minuets of work outs in 3 times a week.

4: reward my self ( not with food) when i lose 10 pounds.

I am from a little town in Montana. There is not a lot to do here. Well at least I think.

Outdoor activites:
Well i like the idea of hiking, but not unless there is a group of people and they all have guns to defend us from grizzly bears
Swimming! I love it. I only swim in one place in this little town. The lake in the mountain. The one here in the valley is full of swimmers itch. Nasty little buggers.
Running and walking. Well mostly wogging, not running really. Hurts my knees a lot, but thank God He gave man the awesomeness of icy hot.

WATP is Walk Away The Pounds, short for any of a collection of exercise DVD's by Leslie Sansone. It is a combination of walking in place, sidesteps, kicks, knee lifts, tap outs, kick backs, and various other moves, all of which can be done in a rather small space. She does "mile" long segments which take 12-13 minutes. I like it because there is no equipment needed and I can do it inside out of the weather and mosquitoes. Those little buggers aren't a problem this time of the year, but cold and snowy sidewalks are...

Where we snowshoe we never have problems with wildlife. I suppose even if there is a mountain lion, they see us before we see them. I guess I could carry bear spray, but then we make so much noise that is never a problem. I wouldn't go anywhere very far alone though. Besides, it's so much more fun with friends. If you do snowshoe, have a ball!
