Working at a new me!

I am working very hard to accomplish a healthy life style. I ride my recumbent bike and my out door bike most days..making a total distance of 6-8 miles logged. I am incorporating walking too..This has been a huge challenge for me. I don't walk well..( a catch 22..I am overweight so its hard to walk..so I don't walk..and when I don't walk I gain more weight and my ability to walk is diminished. I NEED to walk..I started out slowly..only 1/4 the first day of walking on the school track..then ...

My Goals:
my daily goals,,;eat 1200 calories and track on Spark; exercise; do good deeds for others; above all be thankful..the Lord has given all..I need to remember from whence I came..!!

My Program:
Eat a healthy breakfast .eat healthy through out the day..TRACK. Bike and walk at school for the next few weeks..till school starts. Increase my walking from 1/3 mile to 1/2 mile when I can. Increase the Leslie Sansone Walk Diet DVD to 2 miles daily..Ride recumbent bike at least 4 miles a day. Take off two days a week from exercise and one day from eating good..Get right back to the program after days off.

Personal Information:
Originally from Michigan..have lived in Maine, Alaska, and now reside in Oregon. Married..have many children, that are scattered all over the globe.

Other Information:
I love the Lord..and try to serve Him to the best of my ability..I enjoy; quilting, gardening, food preservation, genealogy, chickens , sheep, dog cats, and not least but next to the Lord, my family ..etc. My favorite programs on TV are..BBC productions..such as Downton Abbey, Bleak House, Little Dorrit, The Midwifes. I also enjoy weekly viewing Antiques Roadshow.

I am a Christian...albeit a poor one...and I've tried the tithing route before. Didn't work so well. But thanks for your comments and prayers. Maybe I'll try again.

thanks for commenting. The fast that I am doing is called a 7 day juicing fast. It was not easy for me to find at first and then when I did my first day was just awful, I mean the drinks were that NASTY!!!! Then hubby found some more sites and we learned that it's just about trial and error, the greens are the protein so they are very important, the fruits you still need but not as many and veggies are a definite need! When I am done with this I am going to post some I liked and some that were really bad, I will even post some sites. Remember to talk to your dr before trying anything new. As for changes in my body well it is said a common side effect is a headache for the first 3 or 4 days and I am happy to report I didn't have that, however I felt bloated and nausea for the first 2 days (like all day), then the 3rd day I only felt bloated for the first few minutes after drinking them, now on the 4th day for the most part I feel really good, I still have a good amount of energy, I have 4 to 5 drinks a day plus the lemon water (I will explain that when I finish the fast), I do have a lot of gas (burping a lot). Now it is suppose to clean your body out but as of yet I don't think that part has worked for me. Sorry this is so long

I still haven't done the Richard dvd I got yesterday, but from having done some of his others, the workouts are definitely a workout, but they're not hard to follow and keep up with. And it's hard not to smile while you do it!
