    Thanks for the words of encouragement! I used the elliptical twice tonight, before setting in front of the TV. I'm going to have to make a deal with myself that for 10 minutes of elliptical, 1 program. Maybe I'll "ellipt" myself through the entire program at some point!

    I'm doing okay right now. I am on a plateau but that is okay. I have to fight every day to keep from gaining weight.

    That recipe sounds great!! My kind of recipe. I can't add the mushrooms but the rest I like and can have.

    I'm hoping to get a little motivated to work harder soon. My body rebels a lot.

    You were talking about the motivation to move and that's exactly what my watch gives me. emoticon I always struggled with issues concerning my Bodymedia band (esp that it caused a rash on my arm) and the Spark Activity Tracker (the fact that I couldn't know my steps unless I was at the computer was a big turn off to me). I'm so happy with what the Vivoactive watch provides...I use the HR monitor everyday and the GPS almost everyday (some days I walk on my treadmill).

    I'm glad you are back with us. emoticon Also, Pat, on our Silvery Sneakers team was asking about trackers but I couldn't tell her anything about the Fitbit since I've never used it...I'll have to see if she has any questions about it since you might be able to answer her questions.

    Since I live near El Paso, we are much more like NM, AZ, or Mexico than TX. emoticon

    Hi Sheila I have been reading your posts and see that you are doing very well. Keep on going girl. I have been working nights and haven't had too much time to remark or talk!!! I just want to say "Keep up the good work, you are doing fantastic."

    I am losing a little weight which makes me happy, been tracking faithfully so that is good as well. I feel motivated to get the weight off and then move onto the next stage, maintaining. On June 19 I joined SP weighing in at 192 and my goal was to loose 25 lbs although SP figures I should loose 46!!! Not gonna happen LOL. I am 67 years young and stand 5'7" ish and really don't want to lose that much weight but will be ecstatic to get down to 167. Well, I have to go do some chores. Have a Happy Day. emoticon

    I'm still tweaking my plan and am making small changes and turning them into habits. I have made some advances and lost some weight but still have a lot to lose. My R.A. holds me back a lot. We still have 4 of our original chinchillas to take care of but they are seniors now and have more health problems.
