My name is Shay. I have been playing around on Spark since 2005. Back then I lost 50lbs with the help of Spark and Weight Watchers. I have now gained it all back since the birth of my beautiful daughter late last year. I have been fighting this weight loss battle since my mid 20s, right after the birth of my son. I have never been thin but was considered thick by most. I am now in my late 30s and looking to lose 107lbs. I want to be here to see my grandchildren grow. That means I have to start taking better care of myself. Changing my mind is to the first step to changing my life. I went back to Weigh Watchers and started tracking my calories here again on May 20, 2008. My plan is to add pictures with every 25lbs I lose.

My husband is planning to buy me a charm bracelet for a reward once I reach my first 10% weight loss. I will add a charm for every 10% there after.

If you don't you should. I'm a pound of fat, and I'm the happiest pound of fat that you would ever want to meet. Want to know why?

It's because no one ever wants to lose me. I'm ONLY ONE POUND, just a pound.

Everyone wants to lose three pounds, five pounds or fifteen pounds, but never only one, so I just stick around and happily keep you fat. Then I add to myself ever so slyly so that you never seem to notice it. That is until I've grown to ten, twenty or even more pounds in weight.

Yes, its fun being ONLY ONE POUND of fat, left to do as I please. So, when you weigh in, keep right on saying "Oh, I only lost one pound." (As if that was such a terrible thing!!)

For you see, if you do this you'll encourage others to keep me around because they will think I'm not worth losing. And I love being around you - your arms, your legs, your chin, your hips & every part of you.

After all, I'm ONLY ONE POUND of fat!!
