I believe in seeing the good in everything and everyone. I love good music and great books. Learning something new each day is my goal. I have very little time and that is why I am here. I work full time and go to school part time and I have children. I am looking forward to meeting new people and discovering new ideas and the new me.
It is Feb. 2009 and I just found out that 8lbs per month is 100 lbs (close enough)in a year. So my goal this year is to loose at least 8lbs a month for the whole year. Now, I know that I am starting a bit late but I will make that up somehow. Since the begining of the year I have lost 5lbs and I am planning on being on track for the 16lbs by the end of Feb.
First 20lbs = New Jeans
40 lbs = Hair done at favorite salon.
80 lbs = Trip out of town.
100 lbs = New wardrobe.
Re evaluate goal and size.. My size goal is 10 and I have no idea how many pounds that is lost.

My Goals:
Where to start!! I want to look like the person I feel inside of me! I am a fun loving person who loves the outdoors. I would love to be an insperation to others and help someone who didn't think they could do it. I WANT TO FINISH. I have a problem in not finishing what I start and I am sick of it. I will be a size 10 and healthy.

My Program:
I am doing well. I have lost 5 lbs and I am in nursing school. I am working on my feet more than ever which really means more exercise for me. I can feel it . I can also feel how unhealthy I am. I have to use my strength and my feet kill me but I am going to be thin by graduation in May of 2010. Not to mention that is the same year as my 20 yr. high school reunion. Yes I am motivated. I can Do it.

Personal Information:
I am a 36 yr old single mom. I live in the Rancho Cucamonga area of California. I was born in Colorado and miss the seasons. I like long walks on the beach and... just kidding.

Other Information:
There are so many books that I like it is hard to list them all so just a couple ok... Eat Pray Love. The Glass Castle. Left Behind. A walk In the Woods. Redeeming Love.

    I’ve belonged to a lot of teams here on spark-- i really do believe that the Emotional Eaters team is one of the very best, it’s a great group of people- very supportive and encouraging-- and it is very refreshing to talk with people who "get" what you're going through!!

    Welcome to the EE team. It looks like your goal is the same as mine was when I joined SP...I've managed to lose 31 pounds since joining. You can do this too. SP has so many valuable tools and resources...tracking what I eat and the exercise I do have been so helpful to me. If you need anything, don't hesitate to give me a shout.
