I have been on this journey for a while now. In 2015 I was able to keep off the 48 pounds I lost. 2016 is the year I plan to continue on my journey to a new healthier me!

My Goals:
My goal is to take care of myself so that I can take better care of the ones I love the most.

I want to look like the skinny person I am on the inside. I want my kids and husband to be proud of me!

My Program:
I am exercising and watching what I am eating by trying to stay within the perimeters set by sparkpeople.com on the nutrition tracker!

LOVE wii fit and wii Biggest Loser!

Trying to drink at least 14 cups of water daily

Personal Information:
I am 38, married with 2 boys and 1 girl. I live in Westminster, CO. I love to read, I usually have 2-3 books going at a time. I own my own zoo;p...(it feels like it with all the animals my kids come home with)currently we have 2 cats, 1 dog, 1 lizard and 1 turtle.

I spend lots and lots of time taking my kids from activity to activity. My two boys play baseball and swim. My oldest also umpires for our Little League. They also are very active in their Boy Scout Troop. My daughter plays softball, takes pitching lessons, and swims. She is also in Girl Scouts. Toffee her horse takes alot of her attention too!

I was never overweight until after I had my first child. Everyone thought it was cute I needed to "eat for two"...I was never able to take off the baby weight and with each additional kid it got worse. By the time I realized how big I was getting it was very discouraging and I didn't have the gumption to get going. This year it just seemed to click!

Other Information:
I love to read. Some people turn on the tv to sit down and veg but I pull out a book. I normally have at least 2-3 books going at the same time. I also love to garden, fish, camp, hang out with my gal pals. Walking has become a favorite past time.

    If you're looking for a challenge and ready to make a commitment....I have the challenge for you!

    Biggest Loser is the name. It's a 10 week commitment with 10 teams of 24 members each. Main requirements are to weigh in each week and do the interteam challenges (ITC's). Our inter team challenges) consist of exercise and nutrition. They are very helpful in losing the weight and inches and it's fun to compete with other teams for points. Individual teams might have mini challenges of their own. If you are interested, go to my spark page and click on the blue Biggest Loser team icon.

    Join the team and then sign up on the following thread: WAITING LIST FOR A WINTER CHALLENGE TEAM. This is right below the Chit Chat thread.
