I joined Sparkpeople in 2009. At that time I weighed about 140. Through exercise, eating healthy and tracking my calories on Sparkpeople, I made it down to 120 lbs. Then the tragic, untimely loss of a precious loved one, my daughter-in-law, happened. Grief took contol of my emotions and my emotions of my eating. Depressed and no longer exercising, I started packing on weight. It has taken 2 years working through the grief and finding my way back emotionally to a better, healthier state. I know it is time to take control again, but soon II will be facing the loss of another dear loved one. This time, my Dad. I need to focus and be strong to see him to the end of his life's journey and I know that keeping myself healthy is an important part of that. And I also know that I need the help and support of my fellow Sparks.

My Goals:
Get portions and daily caloric intake back under control. Focus on fresh, nutritional foods and lay off of the processed, junk foods. Ultimately to be down to a wonderful 115 to 110 pounds. (I'm only 5 foot and petite boned, so that is totally reasonable._
My Program:
My program includes continuing use of Sparkpeople's nutrition tracker to stay within my calorie guidelines, to continue to increase the amount of physical activity I get each week, 90 minutes is no longer enough!
