Hi! I'm Jane and welcome to my page.
Fall 2011 was very difficult, due to a job change for my husband and possibly moving again, and family and financial issues. Thankfully, we were able to stay put - we only moved here a couple of years ago and none of us was really thrilled about doing it all over again. I am trying to regroup, continue walking, and doing yoga several days per week. Mostly, I just want to stay healthy and get more energy.
Eating healthier, particularly focusing on those foods which increase energy: lean protein, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Limiting sugar, caffeine ,and processed foods. Gentle exercise daily.
Eat real food in as close to its natural state as possible. 6-7 servings of fruits and vegetables, 6-8 glasses of water per day, good protein and whole grains.
Gentle yoga and walking with my walking buddy, Felix at least 4 days a week. Aim for 9 hours of sleep per night when I can.
I'm Jane and I live in Downers Grove, IL near Chicago. I have three children, ages 23, 20, and 15. 20 year-old is away at college and the other two might as well be, for all I see of them these days!! I am about to gain a wonderful daughter-in- law in December! I have a wonderful husband and we have been married almost 28 years. I have three cats and two dogs. Mostly I am home with them.
I love to read, read, read!Especially mysteries. I am basically a homebody and I love hanging out with my husband, my kids and my dogs! I volunteer in my church library teach Sunday School. I also try to grow my own vegetables and love my flower garden! I am looking forward to helping put together food for the Chicago Night Ministry.
