It's time to get real. I want to be healthier. My career comes with high stress now, so in order to keep that in check, I need to be physically healthy. That means it's time to get on board, it's time to get moving, it's time to eat better, it's time to make healthier choices.
I've done this before - I know I can do it again.
It's time ...
* Lose 20 lbs
* Fit into size 6 jeans again
* Have a tummy I'm proud to show off
1. Work out regularly. Cardio 4-5 times a week, and strength 3-4 times a week.
2. Eat healthy and balanced meals and snacks. I'll track my food and watch calories, protein, carbs, calcium, and fat.
3. Learn how to make this a life style without hating it.
My "life indulgences" include quilting, crafting, reading, down-hill skiing, biking, cooking, and baking. And of course every minute with my family.

Hi. Just wanted to thank you for the encouraging words on my sparkpage blog! I appreciate all the encouragement I can get! I sometimes lament the fact that I was a size 3 when we got married 20 years and 3 babies ago! LOL! But I will get back down to at least a healthy weight. We all will.

jus a quick hello from the surrounding radius area. alot of us have had success losing with the help here. sometimes it helps to have lots of motivating spark ppl to talk to. yeah, the scheduled tasks and trackers help too, but best of all-it's free! this website is all what you make of it so....goodluck to you cuz we're all in it together now. lata

Hi. I am not doing so hot on my weight loss journey. I fell off of the wagon, but I hopped back on since the 30th...and I have my seatbelt on this time...not going anywhere. Will leave the pounds behind though!

As a busy mom myself, I know how hard it is to balance family, work, and on top of it all, trying to find time to exercise. I really appreciate all your great ideas for challenges. They have been a great help to me in keeping me motivated.
