Hey everyone. I think I need some support in my weight-loss. I am an avid over-eater and couch potato, trying to reform my slothful glutonous ways :-). My goal is to be more active and find joy in more physical activities. Also to reduce my back and knee problems. I know those are caused by my weight. I wonder if there's anyone else out there who has problems bending over because their back hurts! Gosh, I can barely remember when it *didn't* hurt. So yeah, that's a huge problem. Basically, if anyone has any motivational comments or suggestions, I will greatly appreciate them! Thanks for reading, everyone!!! And good luck in your endeavors!
-Reduce back and joint pain
-Reduce blood pressure
-Increase pleasure in physical activity and healthy eating
-Resist urge to dive into a bucket of cheese when PMSing
No set program really. Just trying to eat healthier and move more. Taking things one day at a time.
I'm a 20-something lady in Indiana working for a university and pursuing my master's degree in education. I have a ridiculous sense of humor and enjoy reading, TV, laying on the couch, and sleeping. Wishing to change said hobbies to something more active such as walking my dog, swimming, biking, and all that other fun stuff healthy people do. If you have a favorite activity that's tons of fun, fill me in, because exercising just isn't as much fun as it should be!!!

Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you, but yes I do work and go to school at IUPUI, gotta love the student discount. I am still working on my BS but one step at a time, plus I need to figure out what I actually want to get my masters in and what I might want to do for the rest of my life.

I read your comment about hiding your diet, and unfortunately I do have to agree, there are people out there that love to see other people fail and they thrive off of it.
Also I don't think that I am on a diet because I intend on healthy the rest of my life, so to me it is just a way of life, and when people ask me if I am on a diet I just say no not really and leave it at that.
So I checked out your page, I live in Indiana too and I work for a university, hmmm maybe we work for the same one. Do you happen to work for one in Indianapolis?
