Reality...

I'm 47, been married for 28 yrs, and have a 24 yr old son. I've done this a few times before...I'm looking to make a permanent change to a healthy lifestyle...No more excuses!!!
I've learned a lot over the years and it comes down to making the right choices on food and getting in some form of exercise. The changes that you make have to be for the rest of your life, not just to reach the goal, the maintenance is half the battle. Learn about your body, what works and what doesn't, ...

I've learned a lot over the years and it comes down to making the right choices on food and getting in some form of exercise. The changes that you make have to be for the rest of your life, not just to reach the goal, the maintenance is half the battle. Learn about your body, what works and what doesn't, change your macronutrient amounts (more/less carbs, more/less protein,etc..), change your exercise routine. We might all look the same but we don't all respond the same. The basics are there for you to tweek..
1. Drink 8 cups of water a day
2. Don't skip breakfast
3. Eat 3 regular meals and 3 snacks a day
4. Exercise a min. of 30 minutes, atleast 3x a week or more
5. Choose complex carbs over simple carbs
6. Keep sodium intake low
7. Get enough fiber
